NYS Fair Day 1: Hip Hop Royalty Salt N’ Pepa Perform For A Packed Chevy Court

With the summer season starting to come to close in upstate New York that can only mean one thing, the New York State Fair Music Series is kicking off! In addition to the food, rides and everything the fair has to offer, we are extremely fortunate to get a eclectic variety music during the Fairs 14 day run.

What a way to kick it off to with none other than hip hop’s royalty and the Queens of Rap themselves, Salt N’ Pepa!

From Queens to rap royalty, Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton have pushed it real good as a trailblazing duo that changed the game for women in hip-hop. The duo brought their Grammy winning and blend of hip hop to the packed Chevy Court this past Wednesday, which got the fans up dancing and singing along to some of their hits like “None of Your Business,” “Shoop,” and the hot that started it for them “Push It.”

After an amazing hour plus set the duo thanked the fans for their love and support over the past 40 years. Truly amazing to see these trailblazers still performing and lighting up the stage!
