Central New York singer-songwriter Sydney Irving paid a visit to Rome’s Copper City Brewing Company on Wednesday night, performing an eclectic mix of covers and originals that perfectly showcased this talented musician’s range.
Irving has released a video for her latest single, “You Can’t Forget About Me” which you can see below. The song showcases her smoky pop vocal style and features her talented backing band, The Mojos.
A Sydney Irving set can range from a stellar acoustic cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver” to a straight run-through of a Counting Crows song. She has one foot in the rock world, one foot in the pop world, and, if she had another foot, it would be in the country realm. She’s supremely comfortable as a multi-genre professional and is beelining for stardom.
She’s been hitting up the Central New York club and brewery circuit with her solo act and with the band has become the first act to perform at each of Turning Stone Casino Resort’s venues. You can check out her upcoming dates here.
