4TH ANNUAL EDDIES MUSIC AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED
SCHENECTADY — Nippertown, 315 Music’s Captial Region sister publication, has received seven nominations for the 4th annual Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards. This year’s ceremony returns to the MainStage at Proctors in Schenectady at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24.
The Eddies, as the awards are commonly known, are presented to the best of the best in the Capital Region’s music scene, similar to what the SAMMYS are to the Syracuse Area music scene.
Nippertown is nominated in the Arts Publication of the Year (print, TV or new media) category for the fourth consecutive year, while also receiving nods for Music Journalist of the Year (staff writer Don Wilcock and contributor Michael Hallisey), and Photographer of the Year (publisher/owner Jim Gilbert, staff photographer Rudy Lu, and contributing photographers Stephanie Bartik and Andrzej Pilarczyk).
