SAMMYS Press Conference Announced, Spotlight Series to Air on Newschannel 9 ‘Bridge Street’
The 2022 SAMMYS press conference will be live and online from Subcat Studios this year. The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 10:00 a.m. Please Log on to the Syracuse Area Music Awards Facebook page to view the Press Conference.
The public is encouraged to vote for their favorite Central New York artist or band, livestream event or series, academic or live musical organization, and venue here. Voting in Round three, the Top 32 in each category, ends Sunday, January 30. The Top 16 in each category will advance to the fourth round on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

- Thurs. Feb. 3 – Mattydale Music Collective
- Thurs. Feb. 10 – London McDaniel
- Thurs. Feb. 17- Unknown Woodsmen
- Thurs. Feb 24 – Robert Tousignant
- Thurs. March 3 – Special Surprise Guest- To Be Announced at Feb. 8 Press Conference
The annual Hall of Fame Ceremony will be on Thursday, March 3, and the SAMMY Awards Show will be on Friday, March 4, with musical performances by area artists and bands. Locations and Details will be announced at the Feb. 8 live-streamed press conference.
