Syracuse Punk Band Bridge Under Fire Releases Juneteenth Single to Benefit NAACP
Today is Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of all Texas slaves in 1865. In honor of the day, Bandcamp is donating 100% of its sales from midnight to midnight on June 19 to the NAACP legal defense fund.
Syracuse punk band Bridge Under Fire recorded a cover of Hot Water Music’s song “No Division” for the occasion. The proceeds generated from the sale of this single and other sales from their page will be donated to the Syracuse chapter of the NAACP.
You can purchase the single or any of the band’s other music through their Bandcamp page here.
