LIVE: Billy Strings at The Oncenter

SYRACUSE – Bluegrass sensation Billy Strings attracted a sold-out crowd to The OnCenter Saturday night in Syracuse.

Strings – a 2021 Grammy Award winner – brought the heat this holiday season by showcasing his unparalleled talent as a musician and guitarist. Strings opened the show with his song “Home,” which is also the title of his 2019 album that helped pave the path to where he is today. The bluegrass musician has been nominated for over 22 awards in his young career, nine of which resulted in big wins for the artist.

The sold-out crowd was so electric that even Santa showed up for the acoustic instruments. String and his band members performed 24 masterful songs that vibed through the arena’s speakers. It’s not too often you find a bluegrass artist in Upstate New York who can sell out months before the show date. This speaks volumes for the talent Billy Strings brings to the music industry.

The environment was nothing but bright colors and bright emotions on Saturday. But you know what they say, the best way to spread bluegrass cheer, is by singing Billy Strings for all to hear.
