Singer Robin Wilson from Gin Blossoms opened their set referencing a quote from the movie They Live stating “We came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, but we are all out of bubblegum.” Wilson didn’t break his promise, because the Gin Blossoms indeed kicked butt at Chevy Court at the NY State Fair on Friday, September 2nd.
The Gin Blossoms performed a great mixture of their well-known songs such as “Follow You Down” and “‘Till I hear it From You” along with newer tracks like “Break” and “Still Some Room in Heaven” from their 2018 album “Mixed Reality.”
The Gin Blossoms know how to rock and get the crowd on their feet. Wilson is very interactive and knows how to connect with the crowd making their set intimate and memorable.
