Long Island’s favorite musical son, Billy Joel announced a set of stadium dates for Summer 2020 on Tuesday. Buffalo’s New Era Field will host the Piano Man on August 15.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale to American Express cardholders beginning Monday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 a.m. local time. General public on-sale begins Friday, Nov. 22 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Ticket prices for the six-time Grammy winner’s tour will range from $64.50-$184.50.
Other stadium dates included on Joel’s itinerary include Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on April 18, Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, IN on June 20, Comerica Park in Detroit on July 10, Fenway Park in Boston on Aug. 28 and Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Sept. 11.
Joel’s last appearance in Buffalo was in March of 2010 at KeyBank Center – then known as HSBC Arena – with Elton John. His last appearance at New Era Field – then known as Rich Stadium – was in 1994, also with Elton John.
Joel has scheduled one show each month at Madison Square Garden in New York since January 2014. He is next set to perform Nov. 15 at the World’s Most Famous Arena, marking his 70th consecutive sold-out show there. Following his also sold-out Dec. 11 show, Joel will have performed at the Garden 115 times.
