Syracuse’s Lost Horizon to Get Raucous Saturday
The legendary Lost Horizon in Syracuse has long been known as the area’s premier rock venue, having seen everyone from Guns ‘N Roses to local up and comers grace the stage. Saturday, Aug. 3 will see a handful of Syracuse’s top indie acts banding together for a night of punk, ska, oi and other random acts of music.
The $10 show kicks off at 8:00 p.m. with the cigar box punk-blues of Judge Gazza & Co. followed by the street punk duo The War Lovers. Alt-blues rockers Late Earth and old-school punkers Lucky33 are next on the bill. The night closes with the hip-hop/punk collective Odd Abilities. Each band is slated to perform 30-minute sets.
Lucky33 has released a new single, “So Long (And Thanks for the Scraps,” which can be viewed below.
Late Earth is riding the tide of its self-titled album and the whirlwind single “Headcase.” This rising band is coming off a recent appearance at the A Lovely Time Festival at Snow Ridge in Turin and will also be performing at Woods Fest in Westernville on Aug. 10. Check out the official video for “Headcase” below.
Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster, the Lost Horizon website and at the door of The Lost Horizon the day of the show. For more information on this, check out the Facebook event page here.
