Live: George Thorogood Proves He’s Bad to the Bone at the Great NY State Fair
As Day 4 wrapped up at the Great NY State Fair, George Thorogood and the Destroyers took to the stage at Suburban Park, and knocked it out of the park! George packed them in, and then rocked their socks off Saturday night with favorites, such as Who Do You Love, One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer, and of course Bad to the Bone.
As a photojournalist, George is a joy to cover, because not only can he rock a crowd musically, but his stage presence is top notch and he plays to the crowd on both counts. Celebrating more than 50 years rocking, I quote George as he says, “The promoters invited us, the audience came to hear us, and we’re ready to rock. When the rush of that ends, I’ll stop. Until then, every night I play for people can be the biggest night of my life.” George you thoroughly rocked the crowd at the Great NY State Fair, please don’t stop rocking.
