Dark Star Orchestra at Apple Valley Park for Two Nights
Creative Concerts has announced Dark Star Orchestra will be playing Apple Valley Park in Lafayette, NY on Saturday, July 31st, and Sunday, August 1st. Tickets are on sale now at applevalleypark.com, with each night being sold individually.
Dark Star Orchestra most often plays their shows based on a full setlist from the Grateful Dead’s 30 years of extensive touring. However, sometimes they use the Dead’s catalog to program a unique setlist for a show. While the actual setlist is always a surprise and always different, there is one resonating consistency: attendees are going to experience a night of the living Dead that will encapsulate the energy, the familiarity, and the experience Grateful Dead fans know and love.
What makes this run even more special is the fact that night two will be played on the late, great Jerry Garcia’s birthday. He would’ve turned 79.
Like previous events announced in this outdoor series, events will be socially distanced, with fans being able to purchase tickets in roped-off PODS for parties of 2, 4, or 6. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, all PODS are spaced a minimum of six feet apart.
Dark Star Orchestra honors the beloved Grateful Dead while giving concert-goers a new and unique experience each night. Get your tickets now for two exciting nights in a beautiful venue, on a weekend that celebrates the life of Jerry Garcia and the long strange trip of the Grateful Dead.
