Filled to the Brim, a rock band consisting of local high school teenagers will be performing at The Stanley Theatre<\/a> on Friday, Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, or by calling The Stanley Theatre Box
Office at 315-724-4000, and are $10 in advance or $15 at the door the night of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filled to the Brim was formed in 2018 when they met at Jim O\u2019Mahony\u2019s Rock Camp<\/a>. Musicians that were interested in playing in a band and composing together gathered in Marcy for a two-week-long camp experience. By the end of that session, Filled to the Brim had composed their debut single, \u201cTurn Back the Time,\u201d and was beginning to collaborate on new song ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They played their first concert in August 2018. In March 2019, the band recorded a music video for their single, \u201cTurn Back the Time\u201d with Lisa Baron from Upstate Studios, now known as Baroness Films<\/a>, in Utica. Over the course of 2019, they played shows and continued collaborating until they found that they had created enough songs for a full album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They headed back to the studio in December 2019 and recorded their 11 track self-titled debut with Andrew Greacen from MoreSounds Studios<\/a>. The album was released in 2020 and can be streamed and\/or purchased at Apple Music<\/a> and Spotify<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band consists of Victoria Haggerty on lead vocals, Alyssa Tomassi on drums, Owen Paz on bass, Jack Towns on keyboards and Johnny Mudge on lead guitar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
