Unity Hall<\/a>\u2019s next live performance will take place on Saturday, November 20 when The
Burns Sisters<\/a> and their band light up the historic stage with their tight harmonies and
uplifting high-energy music. While coming from a background in acoustic folk music,
they are equally at home with the rock and blues tunes that their audiences now expect.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. upstairs on the main stage at Unity Hall, 101 Vanderkemp
Ave, Barneveld.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two of twelve siblings, Annie and Marie Burns have been singing together since
early childhood. The Burns Sisters have been through many different
configurations over the years. \u00a0They started as a trio. At one time, all five sisters
sang together, but they eventually returned to the original trio. Several years ago,
Jeannie Burns left the band to follow her\u00a0heart westward to the Austin music
scene. Now based in Ithaca, Marie and Annie have kept the name
and\u00a0reputation of The Burns Sisters alive, performing in major venues and
festivals in the\u00a0United States, as well as in Ireland where they have been
repeatedly invited to play\u00a0established music festivals. The two have written and
produced together and apart approximately 20\u00a0CDs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Burns Sisters have shared the stage with many great folk legends, including\u00a0Willie
Nelson, Arlo\u00a0Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Pete\u00a0Seeger, Odetta, and Chris\u00a0Thile (the former host
of Prairie Home Companion). They have appeared with the Boston Pops and have played
venues from Carnegie\u00a0Hall to the Grand Old\u00a0Opry,\u00a0and from the hills of Northern
Thailand to the hills of Clare Ireland. The sisters are mainstays at the annual Woody
Guthrie Folk Fest in\u00a0Okemah\u00a0Oklahoma.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Burns Sisters Tickets: General admission – $20 (Members buying advance sale
tickets can get a $2 rebate night of the show). Proof of vaccination and ID is required to
attend Unity Hall concerts until further notice and face masks are encouraged.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m.\u00a0and the concert will begin at 8 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0 It is recommended that
concertgoers purchase tickets early, as seating will be reduced due to Covid restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
