Creative Concerts has announced another pair of shows for its summer concert series. Billy Strings will be performing at Apple Valley Park in Lafayette on Thursday, July 29 and Friday, July 30. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. at\u00a0applevalleypark.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with all previously announced events in this outdoor series, events will be socially distanced, with fans being able to purchase tickets in roped-off PODS for parties of 2, 4 or 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to create a safe experience for guests, a carefully thought out site plan has been developed allowing for temperature screenings and surveys to be conducted upon entering the event grounds. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, all PODS are spaced a minimum of six feet apart. A variety of food and beverage options will be available for purchase. Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Billy Strings won Best Bluegrass Album at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards for his critically acclaimed record, HOME<\/em>. Michigan-born and now Nashville-based, Strings arrived on the music scene as one of the most compelling new artists with the release of his 2017 debut LP, Turmoil & Tinfoil<\/em>. Since his debut, Strings has been awarded Guitar Player of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the 2019 International Bluegrass Music Awards, selected as one of Rolling Stone\u2019s 2017 \u201cNew Country Artists to Know\u201d and performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and PBS\u2019 Bluegrass Underground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often playing over 200 shows per year, he has also become known as an electric live performer, keeping the improvisational tradition of bluegrass alive while incorporating elements of several diverse genres.
