The music kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with a performance from the nine-piece funk outfit D&#8217;Funk&#8217;D. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formed in 1983, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rebirthbrassband.com\/\">Rebirth<\/a> incorporates funk and hip-hop into their traditional New Orleans second line sound, creating a celebration through music. Attendees may encounter a genuine second line as the band makes its way to the stage for its 7:30 p.m. performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Rebirth Brass Band - Rebirth Groove\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K7bv7bHK4sY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Levitt AMP Music Series is a summer-long event featuring free live music funded by grants through the Levitt Foundation. The matching grants are provided to non-profits in small to mid-size towns and cities across the country to inject new life into public spaces. This is Utica&#8217;s fourth consecutive year as a Levitt AMP host. Concerts continue throughout August at Kopernik Park.
