Tears for Fears<\/a> played this past Wednesday to an enthusiastic crowd at CMAC<\/a>.\u00a0 A little rain didn\u2019t deter the die-hard fans as they showed up with umbrellas and dancing shoes. As the show got underway, a double rainbow appeared to welcome the duo that quickly made a name for themselves back in the ’80s.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promptly taking the stage, the band began with some new music from their latest release, The Tipping Point, and quickly switched gears with fan favorite \u201cEverybody Wants to Rule the World.”\u00a0 Throughout the evening, they continued to play a mix of new music and hits from the ’80s.\u00a0 Joking with the crowd that \u201cWe didn\u2019t always look like this\u2026we were once cute,\u201d the band may have aged, but they did so like a fine wine as their vocals and the band were top notch; proving they still got it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening for Tears for Fears, was Cold War Kids<\/a>, an indie rock band from the early 2000s.\u00a0 Lead singer Nathan Willett proved his musical ability by not only fronting the band on vocals but also accompanying on piano, guitar, and maracas.\u00a0 Not familiar with the band or their music, crowd fans appeared to approve as they stood and danced the entire set.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
