Thursdays on the Village Green Returns to Hamilton

After a year hiatus due to COVID-19, Thursdays on the Village Green is back on Hamilton’s Village Green. In addition to terrific performances every Thursday, each night includes family-friendly events arranged by the Hamilton Public Library.

The series kicks off on July 15 with Chris Eves and the New Normal. The activity is Magic Rocks! With Leon Etienne. July 22 brings Stephane Wrembel, one of the preeminent master guitarists in the world specializing in the Django Reinhardt style. The activity of the night is The REV, presenting “The Golden Goose.” July 29 is the Realtime Dixieland Band and August 5 features Nate Marshall & the Family Band. August 12 brings the ’90s cover band Lazer Dad along with the Robert Rogers Puppet Show “Just So Stories.” August 19 features Opus Black String Quartet with the Utica Zoomobile “Amazing Animal Tails” for the activity.

Rain locations for July 15, July 22, July 29, August 12 will be the Eaton Street Pavilion. Rain locations for August 5 and 19, along with activities for July 29 and August 5, will be announced on the series Facebook page at facebook.com/thursdaysonthevillagegreen

Folks are encouraged to dine on the Village Green or enjoy the music from the patio of the Colgate Inn. The evening’s concert and activities are free for all to enjoy. Blankets, chairs and dancing are encouraged! 

The series will give locals and visitors alike a chance to enjoy downtown Hamilton’s eateries and boutiques. From home goods and fashion to antiques and gifts, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy just a stone’s throw away from the Village Green.
